As Infinity Co-Founder and Managing Director, Sam focuses on enabling technologies and software in the networking and semiconductor-related areas.

Sam serves on the Board of Directors of several private companies. He was previously a Board member of Andes Networks (assets acquired by Sun Microsystems), Berkeley Networks (acquired by FORE Systems/Marconi), Epigram (acquired by Broadcom), SmartMachines (acquired by Brooks Automation), JetCell (aquired by Cisco Systems), Amber Networks (acquired by Nokia), Aristo Technology (merged with Monterey Design Systems) and E.piphany (NASDAQ: EPNY).

In addition, he was an active investor in P-Com (NASDAQ: PCOM), Ascend Communications (NASDAQ: ASND), Kalpana (acquired by Cisco) and LightLogic (acquired by Intel).

Sam was a Co-Founder of Information Technology Ventures in 1994, a predecessor to the current fund. He also served as Vice President at Philadelphia Ventures and in technical and marketing roles at LSI Logic, Advanced Micro Devices and Hewlett Packard.

Personal
